Below are actual stories of and unsolicited testimonies from people with whom I have worked. I have selected them for examples of how EFT works on a variety of issues. Diabetes: "I have been diabetic for nearly 20 years and felt like I was losing the struggle with keeping my blood sugar levels in a reasonable range (the low 100s). I also knew that it was due to a life-long, ill-fated and enmeshed love affair with food that I had never gotten a grip on, in spite of all the understanding of its emotional roots. I had done a lot of emotional work on that chapter but it never seemed to have any results that stuck. With all that understanding, I still had an eating disorder. "During a session with Anne, wherein she used extensive EFT on the emotional connection I had with food, I actually experienced for the first time that food and I were really separate entities. I realized there is a space between us, it and me, and that that space was called "choice.” I understood what it felt like to exercise choice. Not only did I see it; I felt it as well, and have been able to experience that feeling out of session ever since then. This was really a huge, life-changing event for me: to have a working concept when it comes to food. It had always been that food was the master and I was its mindless slave, the minute food was there, my brain fell into a black hole. And that has totally changed. I now have choice. Yeah! "My blood sugar numbers have been consistently going down, it's only when I forget about retrieving choice that I'm out of balance. When I remember and retrieve it, it works every time. I'm not perfectly there, but the improvement has been incredible, with my levels often being in the non-diabetic range vs. between 250 and 300, which it had been for so very long before our session. In addition, much to my surprise and delight, this reduction in blood sugar happened within one week of that session and my blood sugar has maintained a reasonable level since that time! "A co-worker of mine (massage therapist) had been having attacks of severe vertigo for several weeks, a couple of them occurring at work at the spa we both work in. She would suddenly become very dizzy and things would spin. ... Last week, after working very compassionately on a young man who had just returned from military posting in Iraq (home on R&R for just 2 weeks), we were in the staff room and she began to ask me a question, then got a severe attack of vertigo once again. I immediately began doing EFT with her, with the statement "Even though I have this extreme dizziness ......," and after just 2 rounds of tapping, using the 9 gamut in the sandwich, her dizziness disappeared, and today, almost a full week later, she wanted to tell me that it had not returned since the EFT ... and unknown to me, she had been having it even waking her in the night before that! She's awed ... and so am I! "So let's all keep on tapping! I
use it almost daily ... both on myself and on friends and clients who seem to be
in any sort of distress, physically or emotionally. I'll just keep "paying it
forward" ..... Life Itself
And another email from her a couple of months later... "I can't thank you enough for the
deep appreciation for EFT that I've gained through our work together. I've been
able to use it myself and know it will be a valuable tool for me throughout my
life. I had a big release through EFT about a month ago (I just want to have
fun. . .I just want to have fun. . .) I'm always looking for the next

It's a Small World!
"Dear Anne - Something pretty amazing just happened to me and I just have to share it with you. I was in Barnes & Noble with my daughter, M. She was in the back and I was at my usual spot in the New Age section. I had such a feeling of anticipation going in because I was sure I was going to find something in that section today. I spent a great deal of time on the back side (by the chairs) looking at books and was feeling very frustrated that nothing was there for me today. I didn't do it, but I felt like a little kid wanting to stamp their feet in frustration. I was walking around to the other side of the shelf (where I don't usually find things as often) thinking "Rats, I really, really thought I was going to find something here today," when the mom of one of my daughter D's childhood friends called out to me. I hadn't seen her in quite a while and I was asking about her daughter, J.
"My friend proceeded to fill me in on how she had been. She had been having some problems (which she briefly outlined) and had taken her daughter to several counselors but she just didn't click with any until she found this wonderful counselor named Anne who had helped her so much, but then she moved to FL. I, of course, immediately asked the counselor's full name...and it was YOU. I told her that I knew you well and was not at all surprised that you were able to help her daughter! Love, JPB"
