The Beauty and Energies of SpiritSilks
SpiritSilks are Silks that
are created specifically for you, commissioned by you. The Silks come in a
variety of sizes, and the colors and the designs are given to Rev. Anne in
meditation before and while she is creating them. Information is provided
by your higher self and your guides as to which energies you are either
currently integrating or will be integrating into your life. The colors
and the designs hold these energies within them, as each Silk has its own life force.
In addition, each is blessed by Rev. Anne before
it is given to you.
"I was drawn to the Silks from the first one I ever did. At that time, I was dealing with a very difficult situation in my life, and a friend of mine (www.dancingsilk.com) invited me to come over and paint a silk. I was intrigued, and as I painted my first Silk, I realized how Spirit was speaking through me as I created it. I was hooked. This Silk is filled with darker colors, vibrant and alive, and it speaks to the despair - and hope - I was feeling. (Interestingly, I have never been able to recreate this silk, although many have asked." --Rev. Anne
The Silks have a variety of uses. The larger shawls are used during meditation, and while performing sacred rituals. Some are used to cover altars, and some are hung in windows to allow the sunshine to further energize the Silks. Rev. Anne has a favorite or two with whom she travels and even sleeps, for the Silk's energies are more easily transmitted to her during the time of sleeping for it is a time of low to no resistance. The smaller Silks (approximately 16"x16" size) are used to wrap sacred crystals, oracle cards, and other sacred objects. The Silk protects these items from absorbing unwanted energies.
Please know that if you feel one calling you to it, there is a reason, for it is the voice of Spirit calling. Honor that call, and know that it is a reflection of your own level of trust in yourself and your connection to Spirit. (We are not saying that the only way to honor the call is to commission a SpiritSilk; we are saying that there are myriad ways to honor the call, and one of them is to commission a SpiritSilk.) The call of Spirit must be honored for it is a time to go within and listen. "Be still, and know that I AM God."
